Nelson Silva (male) is a Postdoctoral researcher at MedUni - iDN. His research work currently relates to the creation of adaptive and assistive user interfaces that are supported by eye-tracking in real-time (including AR). This research aims at the development of new eye-gaze based support systems to assist novices and experts in GMA - General Movements Assessment over short video recordings of infants. The expectation is to create new active eye-based support models focused on differences between non-experts and experts, to assistor re-train experts in the assessment of early motor functions in newborns that have proven to be the most reliable marker to predict cerebral palsy.
