REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure, web-based data management platform widely used for clinical and medical research at the Medical University of Graz. It supports structured data collection, management, and export while meeting high standards of data quality, data protection, and regulatory compliance. This course provides an introduction to REDCap and its practical application in research projects. Participants learn how to design REDCap projects, structure research data, collect data efficiently, and export datasets for analysis. An overview of advanced REDCap topics is included to give participants an outlook on extended functionalities such as automation, dashboards, mobile data collection, and system integrations. |
